Amur.Info News Agency is a licensed and officially registered media outlet. The News Agency issues news and prepares analytical materials covering Russia’s Far East.
Amur.Info (earlier www.alphatv.ru) website started operating at the end of 2001. After short interruption which had place in 2002, the site team has resumed activity and operates daily since June 19, 2002.
Every day news agency’s authors publish 20 to 40 reports about Amur region, Far East of Russia and its relationships with neighbor East Asian countries. The latest statistics shows 2,400 to 2,700 daily site visits (15,000-20,000 page views), the number of Amur.Info regional discussing board registered and active members has grown up to 2,000+. Amur.Info, according to open statistics, is the most visited website in Blagoveshchensk and whole Amur region.
On September 13, 2007, the fourth version of website has launched. In addition to social and economics reports, it provides some other helpful services for Blagoveshchensk and Amur region residents such as cultural events announces, currency rates, TV and transport routes schedule, classified ads, job vacancies, SMS send service etc.
Besides self-produced reports and analysis, Amur.Info website includes content of Alpha TV broadcasting company news reports. Among information partners of news agency are “Autoradio-Blagoveshchensk” radio station and “Teleport” weekly newspaper. That media are also leaders on Amur region mediamarket.
